Assam is considered to be one of the largest tribal states of India. To the Assamese folk dances mean a lot and are mainly related with their culture. Featured here is a folk dance from this north-eastern state. The folk dances of the state are usually performed with the accompaniment of traditional musical instruments like kham, jotha and cymbals.
