Ayyappa Songs
Sabarimala, a famous hill shrine of Lord Ayyapa, is located on the banks of river Pamba in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. It is the singing of devotional songs dedicated to lord ayyappa by his devotees with all emotions during Mandalakalam (the time period for the pilgrimage to sabarimala). Devotees wear black clothes during this time. They sing devotional songs and offer prayers to the deity without fail. People from all over the country visit Sabarimala as a part of the pilgrimage.
