Featured in this video is Sree Nagesh temple in Bandora village in Ponda Taluka, Goa state of India. Built in 1780 AD, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located a few kilometers from Panaji, the capital of Goa.
One can find a gallery in this temple, which has an exquisite collection of intricate wooden carvings based on stories from Hindu epics like the Ramayana. There is a water tank in the temple compound on which the shrine is reflected beautifully. The wonder of this tank is that the water here remains crystal clear throughout the year.
