Kozhikode beach is situated about one km away from Calicut city. The beach is excellent for sunset watching.

The Lions Park and Marine Water Aquarium attached are a passion for children who visit the park.

This beach has an old fashioned light house and two crumbling piers, each of which was constructed more than a hundred years ago.
