In Memory of the Mahatma

How grateful the people of Kerala must have been to have had a temple built in memory of Mahatma Gandhi’s visit to the state in 1934. Here is Puthalath Koroth (Kavu) in Mahe, a popular Hindu shrine, built in memory of many social leaders and famous for the Puthalath Thira, the annual festival of Theyyam.
