Manilal Padavoor

Manilal Padavoor had been working as a Cameraman for the past 20 years. He learned his photographic lessons from the renowned Cinematographer Sri. Mankada Ravivarma.Worked as Associate Cameraman to Sri. Mankada Ravivarma and Sri. Sunny Joseph for many films(mainly of Adoor Gopalakrishnan) and documentaries.

Had been the Chief Cameraman of IndiaVision Satellite Communication(the first 24hrs news channel of Kerala) for five years. Also worked as the main Cameraman of Art of Living Foundation, Bangalore. Did camera for a number of wild life films as well as issue based documentaries. Being a frequent traveler, was active in still photography too. Works with Invis Multi-media for the past many years.

Had directed one short film(about P.N Menon, the renowned film director) and a documentary (about Kalamandalam Hydarali, the great Kathakali singer) which won the state award for best documentary director.
