Raghu P.

Born in 1964 at Kottayi in Palakkad district of Kerala, Raghu P. had his elementary education from the village school. He underwent his formal school education in Bihar. He is a graduate in Economics and Teaching and is a post-graduate in literature. As a creative writer Raghu made an impact since his academic days and won many awards and scholarships.

Raghu’s stint as a stringer with some of the leading dailies in Malayalam, saw him contribute interesting features and special photo-features on different topics. He has written scripts for television programmes and has traveled extensively in different parts of India; especially the villages and also regions noted for historic significance and rich biodiversity.

Research and studies have been carried out by Raghu on cultural anthropology, aesthetics, aborigine culture, mural, sculpture, tantra, music, dance, visual arts, Kathakali and creative writing. Raghu has taken part in many seminars and workshops as special invitee.
