Panchakarma treatments video in Japanese
Panchakarma literally means ‘five actions’ and is a treatment in Ayurveda and is a rejuvenation process for the body. This is a five pronged method of treatment designed for the expulsion of disease causing toxins from human body. It is done in three stages – pre- treatment, primary treatment and post treatment.
Treatments like Abhyanga Snana (medicated oil massage), Talam, Talapothichil, Shirovasti, Pichu (all these for head ailments), Akshitarpana and Netradhara – for eye care can be seen in this video.
In Panchakarma, the post treatment care includes diet regimens, restricted bodily exertion and the intake of health promoting drugs as it intends to rebuild the organism and rejuvenate the patient.
