Visva-Bharati University, Shantiniketan

Founded by the renowned poet of India Rabindranath Tagore, Visva-Bharati University is a Central University for research and teaching located in the twin towns of Shantiniketan and Sriniketan in the state of West Bengal.

The university is divided into institutes, centres, departments and schools, which deal with rich cultural heritage as well as art and dance education of the country, and are funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
