Prakasam Barrage which stretches 1223.5 m long is built across the Krishna River at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, India. This barrage has  helped the state in the irrigation of huge tracts of agricultural lands. One can also see the three canals associated with the barrage and a panoramic lake which stretches through the city of Vijayawada.
