Undavalli caves are surrounded by the green countryside. Undavalli rock cut caves are caves with four stories excavated in 6th or 7th century, are located in the city of Vijayawada at Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh state, India. 

The rock cut architecture at Undavalli is included among the earliest example of Gupta architecture. The structure of these caves resembles the Buddhist viharas in their architectural and sculptural proficiency, and can be seen as signs of a past Buddhist culture.
