Elephants are a common sight in the streets of Guwahati. Featured in this video are the elephants in one of the streets of Guwahati in Assam state of India. Assam is one of the north-eastern states in India noted for its special culture and tradition.

The state witnesses one of India’s largest elephant festivals, every year at Kaziranga National Park. The festival is organized by the Forest Department and Tourism Department of the Govt. of Assam.
