Nehru Park, located at the centre of the city is a public park named after the first Prime Minister of India, Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. This park, now renovated has a jogging track, playground for children, music fountain, a rock garden and an open air theatre. The park is one of the major attractions in Guwahati in Assam, India.
