The video shows a different offering to goddess Sati in Kamakhya temple near Guwahati in Assam state, India. In ancient times the temple had witnessed human and animal sacrifices, which were made as offerings to the deity. Now, as a symbol of these age-old rituals, offerings are made in the form of fish to the goddess by the priest. Here devotees can sit along with the priest and can offer their prayers to the goddess Shakti.
