The Mahatma Gandhi Setu river bridge connects Patna to the northern district Hajipur in Bihar. It is build across the River Ganges and is the longest single river bridge in Asia. This was opened to public in the year 1982 and its length is 5450 metres. Also known as Ganga Setu, it is a part of National Highway 19.
