Dil Ek Mandir - 1963

A tragic romance between Dr. Dharmesh and Sita, the 1963 released Dil Ek Mandir was the remake of the Tamil film ‘Nenjil Ore Alayam’. The directed by C.V. Sridhar, deals with the situations of despair and hope in human life. The film stars Rajendra Kumar, Meena Kumari and Raaj Kumar in lead roles.

The film has some melodies by Shankar-Jaikishan, such as “Yaad Na Jaaye Beete Dino Ke,” “Ruk Ja Raat Thehar Ja Re Chanda,” “Yahaan Koi Nahin Tere Mere” and “Ham Tere Pyar Mein”
