It will take minutes to recognise that these are not real but artificial flowers. Made of cloth, paper or even clay, these flowers are convincingly beautiful. Artificial flowers are widely used in the country for decorative purposes.

It is at the Surajkund Crafts Mela, an initiative by Haryana Tourism, that these unique flowers are exhibited. The annual fair is organized to promote the Indian tradition of  handloom and handicraft products.
