Etching is a craft of making engravings or etched plates and printing designs on them. This video clip shows the rare etching craft in wood from West Bengal. These artefacts are exhibited at Surajkund Crafts Mela held in Haryana.

Bengali etching craft produce various designs of gods, goddesses and animals on wood. After making the design it is painted beautifully. Usually such works are used as wall hangings.

This fair is annually held on the month of February in India for the exhibition of Indian Cultural tradition.
