About 'Bamboo and Cane artifacts in Dilli Haat'

Over the years, Indian craft has flourished and has reached new dimensions with the diversification of their form, texture and medium. Bamboo and cane are the most commonly used materials for making different artifacts in India especially in eastern part.

These handicrafts include table mats and decorated wall panels. Interior decoration products made out of bamboo and cane include table lamps, ceilings, paneling and other decorative items.

Featured here are the bamboo and cane artifacts from the eastern part of the country at Dilli Haat, a permanent handicraft and food bazaar situated opposite to the INA market in the capital city of India, New Delhi.
