About 'Quwwat-Ul-Islam: The Might of Islam '

Quwwat-Ul-Islam (the Might of Islam) situated near  the Qutb Minar, New Delhi is the earliest extant mosque in India. The mosque consists of an inner and outer courtyard. This mosque is now a vaunted monument of Delhi and is the best example of Hindu-Muslim architecture.

On the west stands the prayer hall and fixed into the stone-pavement in front is the famous Iron Pillar. One can see the zenith of Indo-Islamic decoration.

Outside this mosque towards the south east stands the world famous Qutb Minar.
