The Shopping Time at Meena Bazaar, Red Fort
This arcade in front of Lahore gate is also known as the Meena Bazaar or Chatta Chowk Bazaar (covered bazaar), once the shopping centre for the ladies of Mughals.
The bazaar stands as a pride of Mughal era and the finest specimen for its marvelous architecture, Lal Qila is located nearby. Red Fort or Lal Qila is situated on Delhi town’s northern end on the bank of river Yamuna.
Now this Bazaar has around forty shops selling artificial and semi-precious jewellery, embroidered bags, and hand painted wall hangings.
