Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, a leading law university in India, has been established by an Act of Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2005 (U.P. Act No.28 of 2005). The University started functioning in the year 2006 and offers B.A. / B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M programs. The students are selected through a National Entrance Test. The main aim of the university is to advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of law and legal processes.

The University has made provision for eleven Centers of Study in diverse subjects of Law which includes, International Law Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, Health Law, Clinical Law, Health Law, and Clinical Legal Education. The Centers ate created so that the University becomes a role-model in national development and service to the society in particulars and the nation in general.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU) is located in Lucknow city in Uttar Pradesh state, India. RMLNLU provides good infrastructure facilities to the students. It is a fully residential university that offers hostels for both female and male students.
