If you are willing for a risky trek, come to Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the most exquisite waterfalls in the world, located on the famous Mandovi River in the state of Goa, India. It is considered as India's 5th tallest waterfall situated at 310 m. You can reach here passing shady tunnels and giving way for the trains to pass by.
Legend says that a beautiful princess who lived in a palace in the forest near the Dudhsagar Falls enjoyed bathing in a lake nearby. She used to imbibe sweetened milk from her special Golden Jug every day. One such fine day, she found a prince watching her drinking the milk. Embarrassed, she emptied her jug in front of him to form an improvised curtain to hide her body. It is believed that the milky water splashing down is that sweetened milk, which the princess poured in front of the prince.
