Lakkar Bazaar, a shopping place famous for its wooden handicrafts in Shimla. It is a market place situated adjoining the Ridge in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The bazaar’s wooden toys, walking sticks and Tibetan carpet are very famous. The wooden toys are made by a small group of Sikh carpenters who settled here a century ago from Hoshiarpur. There is also a roller skating rink here. Shimla is known as the Queen of Hill stations in India.
