Christ Church in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, often referred to as 'Queen of Hills', is the capital of Himachal Pradesh, a state in north India. It is a famous hill station, which draws the attention of people from around the world. The Christ Church located in the Mall area in Shimla is a popular pilgrim centre and is considered as the second oldest church in north India. The church was designed by Colonel J.T.Boileau in 1844 and was consecrated in the year 1857.
