Manipuri dance is one of the most popular classical dance forms in India. It is said to have originated in Manipur state of India. This dance form mainly portrays the scenes from Hindu epics and myths like Mahabharata and Ramayana.

This video shows Pung Cholom, which literally means the Dance with Pung (a traditional Manipuri Drum) believed to be an embodiment of Lord Vishnu and is played on religious occasions.
