Traditional hookah's in the market in Kashmir

Hookah’s come from Middle East and once it crowns the darbar’s of Arabs has a history dating back to 4000 years. Kashmir's traditional smoking pipe Hookah is on the verge of dying as people now prefer cigarettes and other tobacco products available in the market. Called the hubble-bubble by the British because of the gurgling sound it makes, 'Hookah' has been linked with the aristocratic and royal lifestyle during the olden times. Traditional 'Hookah's used to be present at every household but now shopkeepers say that their demand is restricted to villages.
