National snow rugby championship in Gulmarg

India's first national snow rugby championship kick-started in Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir. Teams from Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and the host state, along with the team from the armed forces are competing for the top honours in the three-day event. Jammu and Kashmir's tourism director said the championship will give a big boost for the state's tourism.
