Inside the main shrine at the Bazgo monastery, one would find a huge statue of a seated Buddha. The light from the butter wick lamps reflects off the statue highlighting some breathtaking colours and patterns. The face of the Buddha is an epitome of serenity, bathed in the swathe of daylight that beams in from the top of the roof. The walls inside this main shrine feature frescoes depicting the life and teachings of Buddha.
