The village of Hunder, one of the remotely located human settlement in Ladakh District of Jammu and Kahmir in India, lies on one end of the Nubra valley. It is predominantly an arid region with sever winter conditions and less vegetation. The village, on three sides is surrounded by the mountains of Ladakh Himalayas in Kashmir and makes it look like totally cut off from rest of the world.
