One of the many monasteries located on the way to Leh in Ladakh from Srinagar in Kashmir, the Rizdong monastery is noted for its big school for children, who are trained to become Buddhist monks.
It is a big monastery, perched on the slopes of an imposing mountain that looks like a massive wall of wave.
