About 'Sand dunes of Nubra Valley'

As one approaches the monastery of Disket, on the way to the village of Hundar in Ladakh, the Nubra valley and the River creates surrealistic patterns on the terrain. The floor of this wind swept valley, skirted by lofty heights of the Karakoram ranges is marked by sand dunes, interspersed by thorny bushes. Often one can sight herds of double-humped Bactrian camels foraging.

Kashmir is one of the finest and beautiful travel destinations in India.
