Hundar in Ladakh comprises people, majority of whom are Buddhists. Being so, the land is marked by prominent structures in the form of ‘Stupas.’ On the mountain tops, the slopes on the valley floor, the faithful Buddhists would have one or the other form of religious symbols, some of which can be spotted from a distance, due to its sheer height.
