It is the Virupaksha Bazaar located near the Virupaksha temple at Hampi in Karnataka, India. The bazaar is of rows of square-shaped buildings and is seen to be single level and or two levels, in the form of an arcade. The arcades are open structures with no doors and it shows the level of honesty and higher sense of ethics that existed at this historical monument. Hampi is a World Heritage Site and once the seat of the powerful Vijayanagara Empire in South India.
