The golden stretch of a serene beach and the green hills nearby are the beautiful sights one gets at OM beach in Gokarna. Gokarna is located in Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka state, India.

The beach obtained its name from its resemblance to the auspicious sign ‘OM’, the spiritual symbol of the Hindus. The beach is ideal to watch sunsets, reclining comfortably atop  the rocks scattered on the shores.
