Gokarna, one of the holy places in Karnataka, is famous for its beautiful beaches and breathtaking landscapes. Four of the most serene beaches in India are located south of Gokarna – the Kudle Beach, the OM beach, the Half-Moon Beach and the Paradise Beach.

Featured in the video is the OM beach at Gokarna in Uttara (northern) Kannada district. The beach got its name because it is shaped like the auspicious ‘OM’, the spiritual symbol of Hindus.
