Commonly known as the Mysore Palace, this architectural complex was formerly the official residence of the Wodeyar royal family of the erstwhile Mysore kingdom. The palace is surrounded by a large garden. The palace complex includes twelve Hindu temples. The architectural style of the palace is known as Indo-Saracenic which is a blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture.
