An excerpt from Angada doothu, a Chakyarkoothu play is presented here. The artiste describes a portion from Ramayana, the great Indian epic. Lord Rama learns from Hanuman that his wife is abducted by Ravana, the demon King. Lord Rama calls Sugriva, the monkey chieftain to send a messenger to Ravana before waging a war with the demon King.

Chakyarkoothu is one of the ancient classical performing art forms of Kerala. Performing here is Margi Madhu, an accomplished artiste.
