Artist Namboothiri

The renowned painter and sculptor Artist Namboothiri (K. M. Vasudevan Namboothiri) is known for his brilliant ‘line sketches’ (rekhachithrangal). The fascinating illustrations he has done for several literary publications in Malayalam made him popular among the Malayalee readers. He polished his artistic skills at the Madras School of Fine Arts. He has won the Raja Ravi Varma Award in the year 2003.
