About 'Krishnamuti– Kathakali Costume'

Krishnamuti is an ornamental headgear used in Kathakali. This is a beautiful silver crown shaped like a vase and embellished with peacock feathers around the upper rim.

Characters wearing Krishnamuti include Lord Krishna and Lord Rama. Shown in the video is the character of Lord Krishna from Narakasuravadham, a noted Kathakali play. Make-up of the character is Pacha or green.
