Nangiarkoothu- Kamsavadham

Nangiarkoothu, an allied art of Kutiyattam is a solo female enactment. This art form has an antiquity of 1500 years. Kutiyattam, the Sanskrit theatre of Kerala is two millennia old and has been recognized by UNESCO as one of the ‘Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity’. This nomination has immensely helped the art form in gaining worldwide recognition.

The Play

Artiste:
Performing here is Margi Sathi, an accomplished artiste. Presently she works as a teacher in the faculty of Kutiyattam at Kerala Kalamandalam.
