Kutiyattam, the classical Sanskrit dance-drama of Kerala makes use of elaborate movements of body and face in the course of narration of a story. Description of characters is very important, and a considerable part of the performance is devoted to give the audience a taste of the character. In the video, the figure of a monkey king in the Indian epics is described with the help of facial and body movements and a special background score.
