Kutiyattam, the classical Sanskrit dance drama form of Kerala is a remarkable one with its complex yet subtle performance and long and painstaking training process. The training involves special exercises for the flexibility of the body and twenty-one types of eye movements. Training for foot is also a must since the movement of feet plays a great role in the Koodiayattam performance. In the video Kalamandalam Ramu Chakiar is seen imparting training to his students.
