Christmas is the festival of universal love. In Kerala, people celebrate the season with X-mas stars, trees, cribs and greeting cards, like elsewhere in the world. Even non-Christians participate with much enthusiasm. On Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, special masses are conducted in all churches. Carols are sung by groups of youngsters and church choirs who visit houses in their vicinity.
