The Thrissur Pooram is a grand festival-cum-cultural event of Kerala in South India that is held at the Vadakkumnathan Temple of Thrissur town.

Ten well-known temples participate in this grand gala event. The leading participants are the Paramekkavu and Thiruvambadi temples, and among the other temples that participate in a lesser way, one is the Neithilakkavu temple.

As part of the celebrations, when elephants are fed (anayoottu) in this temple and the video captures the feeding and the festive mood.
