About 'Exposition of seven-and-a-half golden elephants at Ettumanoor temple'

Ettumanoor Mahadevar Temple is situated at Ettumanoor in Kottayam district. The Ezharaponanna (Seven elephants made in gold with two feet height and one with one foot height) was offered to Ettumanor Mahadevar Temple by Karthika Thirunal Maharaja of Travancore in 1759. The Ezharaponnana ezhunallathu (Exposition and Procession of the seven-and-a-half golden elephants) is an event held each year during the temple festival.
