The Poruvazhi Malanada temple at Adoor in Pathanamthitta, Kerala is a unique one since it is the lone temple in Kerala where Duryodhana, the mythical Kaurava king of the epic Mahabharatha is worshipped. Toddy is the main offering of the temple. The one-day festival is usually celebrated in the month of March. It is featured by various folk art performances, and a Kettukazhcha procession in the evening with the motifs of bulls and horses and a decorated temple cart.
