Aruvakode, a small hamlet at Nilambur in Malappuram district of Kerala, India is a land well known for its highly skilled potters. Artisans here are experts in moulding pottery out of locally available clay. They have tried to preserve their identity and have developed it further, to the extent that it is now a part of the mainstream of art and architecture.
