Shown in this video is Kattilmadam, an ancient granite structure on the Kunnamkulam-Pattambi Road. The monument, dating back to the CE 12- 13, is in Nagalasseri village of Palakkad, Kerala. The structure, built in the Dravidian architectural style, has been declared a protected monument by the Government of Kerala.

The area was thickly forested in olden times and people offered money at the structure for safe travel.
