Established in 1995-96, Sree Chithira Thirunal Engineering College (SCT) is one of the educational institutions situated in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, which was able to earn a good reputation within a short time. The college is named after Sree Chithira Thirunal, the erstwhile king of Travancore State.

This institution is run by Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering Society registered under the Charitable Society’s Act of 1955.

The main goal of this institution is to mould the students into high quality, technical personnel with perfect engineering knowledge and good administrative skills.
